Concrete Walls

A four-wall room.
That’s it. That’s where I’m in. There’s nothing there in that room. Just cold concrete walls surrounding an empty space. Securing secrets inside. Insulated from the uncertainty outside.

I heard a faint noise today. I thought it was just a lonely man’s imagination. But the noise keeps on going louder and clearer. It was laughter. Im not quite sure who own’s that laughter. But it seems innocent and pure. A laughter straight from the heart as one might say.  It was a woman, laughing behind these concrete walls. Im not quite sure how the laughter can penetrate these concrete walls. For all I know, these walls allow no intruders. I didn’t mind it thou. It seems as if the laughter can be a friendly companion for these lonely, cold walls. So I kept on listening, to that pure, innocent laughter.

I heard a faint noise today. Again, I thought it was just a lonely man’s imagination. But the noise keeps on going louder and clearer. It was a cry made by someone. It was from the same woman I once heard laughter from. That cry penetrated these walls and seeks companion, just as the laughter did.  It was a heartbreaking cry. I felt like I could lend that broken heart my companion. But I’m imprisoned here, bounded by these concrete walls. So I helplessly kept on listening to that heartbreaking cry. Hoping that whoever owns that cry could know that someone is here, in sympathy of her sadness.

I heard a faint noise today. Again, I thought it was just a lonely man’s imagination. But the noise keeps on going louder and clearer. It was a scream made by someone. It was from the same woman I once heard cries and laughter from. It was a horrific scream. The kind that makes you shivers in fear. Those scream penetrated these walls with ease. The echoes of the scream, was neither less terrifying. I was in panic. Knowing that the woman might need help, I try to shout. Hoping that the words came from my mouth could penetrate these concrete walls. But these walls were very persistent. I tried breaking these walls with my bare hands. Punch after punch, blow after blow, with all my strength. But it was worthless. These concrete walls were too persistent. As I drained my last strength, I fell to the ground. Shivering on the cold concrete floor. In fear, of her fear.

I didn’t hear any noise the day after. And so was the day after that. Weeks, months, maybe years have passed by. Still, no sound came to visit these walls. I still hope that a noise could penetrate these concrete walls once again, but the only noise I can hear was the sound of my own breathing. I wonder how long I will keep hearing this sound of my breathing. There used to be another sound that accompanies my lonely breathing. By now there’s none. Will this sound of my breathing fades away alone? I don’t know.

But one thing is clear. My ears are always open, in searching for a noise. The noise that could penetrate these lonely cold walls, once again.

Grey Broken Bones...

I've sat there. In the middle of it all. Resting my bones while others breaking their's. Seeing, studying and absorbing their nature and idea.

"Fight Fight Fight!", they scream to each other. And fight they did. Some of them fight with lightning, while some fight with thunder. Unleashing their wrath to others who opposes.

"To whom shall i side?", I question myself. To whom shall I lend my strenghts upon and strenghten the forts of their idea?

I keep questioning myself, while resting my bones, watching them breaking their's.

Shall i side with the ones that raises the black flag, saying that one cannot measure true light without seeing darkness?

Or shall i side with the one who raises the white flag, saying that one cannot measure true darkness without seeing the light.

While i was busy watching the two sides crumble and tear one another, I began to look where im laying. I was in the grey area. Not too white. Neither too black.

There i was. Realizing it all.
Is it worth to question it the answer only brings to death?
Why shall i bring war to myself, when peace has already presented to me?
Why turn this sanctuary into hell?

So I keep on laying there. Resting my bones and ease my thoughts.

In hoping, that the ones who keep breaking their bones, would someday join me, resting their broken bones.

serial killers

An average serial killer would kill and get public attention for being notoriously infamous.

A very good serial killer would kill a lot more people, not get blamed for it but blame it on others, never get caught, get paid to do it, could convince other people that what they did is right, and still get the major public votes in politics.

Bangang oh Bangang

Aku agak mesti korang pernah dengar lagu "bangau oh bangau  " kan?
Time kecik-kecik dulu mak bapak nenek moyang korang ajar lagu tu buat nyanyi bergembira.

Jom refresh jap. Ni lirik nye:-

Bangau, oh bangau,
Kenapa engkau kurus,
Macam mana aku tak kurus,
Ikan tak mahu timbul.

Ikan, oh ikan,
Kenapa kau tak timbul,
Macam mana aku tak timbul,
Rumput panjang sangat.

Rumput, oh rumput,
Kenapa panjang sangat,
Macam mana aku tak panjang
Kerbau tak makan aku.

Kerbau, oh kerbau,
Kenapa tak makan rumput,
Macam mana aku nak makan,
Perut aku sakit.

Perut, oh perut,
Kenapa engkau sakit,
Macam mana aku tak sakit,
Makan nasi mentah.

Maksud lirik ni agak ketara. And that is budaya tuduh-menuduh.

I’m sure ramai yang pernah dengar or tau the negative message of this song gives.
But im gonna tell you my point of view.

1) Firstly, the obvious. lagu ni directly tunjuk budaya tuduh-menuduh. So, reflect kat masyarakat skarang. Ramai kan yang ikut budaya ni? This party tuduh party yang lain about causing a certain problems. Terlalu sibuk ngan tuduh-menuduh orang sampai otak dah penuh dengan kebebalan untuk actually start pikir jalan penyelesaian.

i dont know siapa yang reka lagu ni. And aku tak berani nak tuduh siapa salah, Because aku tak tau sama ada dia reka lagu ni berdasarkan atas kebebalan otak beliau, atau this is a form of sarcasm or a satire to the current society.

2) Secondly, si pengajar lagu nih. Thinkless adults. Aku tak faham kenapa diorang mengajar lagu-lagu ni kat bebudak. Maybe diorang tak process betul-betul the impact of this song towards their children. Or maybe diorang tau impact lagu tu but masih nak ajar lagu tu kat bebudak. Bak kata orang, nak melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya. Maksudnye, biar diorang diajar untuk menuduh orang lain, supaya bila diorang dah besar nanti dah pandai la nak tuduh orang atas kesilapan sendiri. But who knows.. haha.

3) Thirdly, yang diajar. Innocent children. Like I said before, aku tak tau the true intention of this song. Sama ada ia satu product kebebalan orang, atau ia satu sarcasm.
So, teliti that two possibilities.

     i) If lagu ni dibuat oleh orang yang bebal.
then lagu ni diajar kat bebudak yang tak berapa pandai nak filter the negative atau tak tau itu satu kebebalan manusia. Sape jadi mangsa? The children.

ii) If lagu ni dibuat sebagai sarcasm or satire.
Adults yang mampu berfikir dapat pick-up yang lagu ni ada unsur parody/satire. And they get the hidden message. Thats okay. But what about the children yang tak mampu untuk paham what is parody, and take it literally? Metaphorically, macam mengajar diorang proses pembiakan manusia, tapi diorang pandang it as pornography. Siapa jadi mangsa? The children gak.

4) Finally, satu-satunya positive element yang aku boleh nampak dengan lagu ni, and that is curiosity. Budaya bertanya and budaya ingin tahu. Which is something that i personally think is important in this era.

But all in all, bende yang negative tu nampak lagi banyak dari yang positive. But I don’t know, tu hanya pendapat aku yang diproses menggunakan satu otak je.

Tapi bile aku dah ade anak sendiri nanti, memang aku takkan ajar beliau lagu ni. Meng-retarded-kan diri je. Lebih baik aku ajar beliau freestyle rapping. Haha..

Zombies and Society

If its one thing that i know from watching a zombie movie (and yes, i do watch a lot of it), then i guess it would be that we live among them in reality.

I don’t mean it like the flesh-eating zombies you see in movies; zombies killing every motherfucker that don’t have bad skin diseases like them. But i do see the similarities in this society.

So here's the comparison:

1. Origin / Cause
The infectious or contagious cause.

Zombie movie
- A mutative virus (Resident Evil called them T-virus) that acts like a parasite to the human brain, turning them into zombies.

Real-life society
- Could be anything. Fashion, status, trend, race, beliefs, ideas, etc.

2. The Pandemic
A huge-scale spread of the cause. Influencing others.

Zombie movie
- The virus was caught by a person. The person turned into a zombie and bites/kill others and turns them into zombies. They spread, growing in a geometric progression.

Real-life society
- Same thing. A small group of people likes a trend, and they influence others. Or some even blindly wanted to join the trend (a big middle-finger to you fashion sluts!). They began to expand.

3. The Killing
The elimination of the other kind, the ones who are different from them.

Zombie movie
- The zombies kill any non-zombie humans.

Real-life society
- They disagree with other trends. Argue, fight, conflict, campaign, genocide, war, etc.

4. Aftermath
                The end-results.

Zombie movie
- They die!

Real-life society
- Nothing good. (They possibly die, too)

And, like in the movies, the only way to stop these living zombies...

..is with a big ass shotgun!
Haha!

So, boys and girls, don’t get sucked into the pile of zombie mosh-pit.
YOU DONT WANNA TURN BRAINLESS, DO YOU??

Law

Let me share an experience i had a few months earlier.

My friend and i have some business to take care at the administration building at my university.

When we arrived there we checked at the counter lobby -something you usually do.
The security guard asks us what our business is.

After we've state our intentions, he let my friend to go in, but didn’t allow me to enter.

I asked why.

He answered it’s because that i have long hair. -it’s against the school's policy to have long hairs.

(Initially, I do know that my hair is long, and I know the guard wouldn’t let me in because of it)

So I told my friend to go on without me.

Then that security guard gave me a lecture, saying that we as students need to follow the schools policies and all those boring craps. (bla bla bla~)

Then I asked him,
"So, you're saying that we, as students, need to follow these policies. Right?"

The guard answered yes.

I asked him
"Policies and laws are made for a reason. Just now, you've told me that having a long hair is against the school's policy.
So what exactly is the reason why the school won’t allow me to have a long hair?"

The guard was in shock. And so was the people that heard our conversation.
He paused, quite a while, unable to answer my question.

Seeing the awkward moment the guard was having, I laughed a little, and walk away from them.

Haha.

I know, I did cause him to lose his cool.

I wasn’t being anarchist or something. We do need laws. But i wont overlook that there are some needless laws out there (just my opinion).

But I do pity for someone like him.

Why? Because he, as a guard, defends a policy that he did not know the intention for.
Simply put, he is defending a law that he himself did not know why existed.

That is simply dangerous..
Next time you want to follow a law, know the law's intention first..

The Homeless Man in The Rain

A homeless man in the rain, covering under a small bridge

He shivers in the cold night rain, shed only with an old piece of cardboard. He hoped for the rain to show its kindness tonight, and let some heat to warm his body. Yet he only can shiver, and cover himself for warmth.

There are houses nearby, facing towards the bridge. All of them look bright inside. “Maybe there’s firewood warming the dwellers” he told himself.

“Maybe some will help and invite me in, sharing their warmth” he thought.

But none of them did that night. None did to help..

He looked at one of the windows. He saw a family with full stomach after having dinner. There was still a plentiful food on the table, and none of them are finished.

“Maybe they will give me some of the leftover food. Even a pinch would do” he thought.

But none of them did that night. None did to help..

Up in the distance, he saw someone standing in front of her house. A woman in her 30’s wearing expensive dress and gold wrapped around her wrist and neck. She was entering a huge car with a driver. “Must’ve been a wealthy person she is” he said to himself.

“Maybe she will give me some spare change. It seems that she has a lot to buy herself needless things. I just need a little, that’s all. Enough to buy me some bread” he thought.

But she didn’t that night..None of them did to help..

Disappointed, the homeless man was left there, helpless.

The homeless man later died there below the small bridge. Cold. Hungry. Alone..

Later that morning, everyone in their neighbourhood found of the homeless man’s body.
Looking at how thin and cold he was, they all felt pity of him. Thinking , “Why didn’t anyone help him when he was in need?”

But little do they know, that they can change that mans fate, if only they stop for a while from all those mesmerizing luxuries. Look outside their windows, and give a helping hand.

Stereo Mono

Just for sharing..

Someone asked me,

“Dude, why the name stereo mouth? You only have one mouth so why not mono mouth?”

So heres my explanation to the question..

A mono sound system is a sound system that only has one type of output. That is, even if the system has one or many speakers, they all give out the same sound.

A stereo, same like any normal types of sound woofers and surround sound systems, have more than one source of output. For example; left speaker, right speaker, bass, etc. Each of these output give out different sounds. And when the sounds combine altogether, will result in the sounds that you hear.

So thats the metaphor that i adopted.

A stereo gives out sounds in different angles. I speak in a stereo manner. In which you sometimes can and sometimes cannot hear me directly to know my points because it depends on the angle im approaching the subject.

I sometimes use similes, synonyms, metaphors, sarcasms, hyperbolas, paradoxes, and all that abstract shit that can make you confuse.

I seldom say it in a mono way. A way that its easy and direct to understand.

Why? Simple...

For you to understand what my real point is, then i firstly need to know if you are able to think. Deeply.. So this is somewhat a test for your brain processor.

So if you manage to understand the real message is, that is, if you can understand the stereo, thats good. But if you didn’t understand it, that is, if you can only understand the mono, then maybe its not for every eyes to read..

So here i am, talking with a stereo mouth.. Would you lend me your stereo ears??

I'm Perfect = Imperfect

Perfectness.

It is impossible to grasp. but it seems like everyone kept on trying.

Somehow their idea of perfectness is a paradise to them. Everything they wanted to be, everything they wanted to have, all in their hands. And that is their idea of perfectness.

But one question came to my mind.

How come this idea of perfectness, seems so much like a paradox?

Imagine that your life is perfect. Where you have achieved every goal in life. When you have everything that you’ve ever wanted. There’s nothing in this world left for you to desire.

When it seems that every aspects of your life is complete, you are actually missing a part of it. And that is, the imperfectness itself.

Its because a part of being human, is being imperfect.

God made us to be who we are and what we are in this form. And in this form, which we all call as humans, have empty gaps inside of us. These gaps represent our abilities, our weaknesses, our responsibilities, our health, our wealth, etc. And one of the purposes in life is to fill up those gaps. Note, that those gaps are, to put in context, infinity in numbers. We can try to fill as much as we can, but to fill all of it is logically impossible.

Now maybe most of us see these unfilled gaps are a form of imperfectness. But never do they think that maybe god made these infinite gaps because we are not meant to fill all of it?

Why? To put it simply, god made every one of us in our own unique abilities and weaknesses. For example some people are smarter that the others while other are more athletic, etc.. It will always be in that form. We have our own abilities and weaknesses in our own ways. We can only lessen our weakness, but never remove it completely.

Having a perfect life, seems so unnatural. Theres no adventure to it. No goals to complete, no thrills, no efforts. Nothing to look forward to. No uncertainties. It will be a dull life.

Living in this world with our abilities and our flaws. Passing through each challenges and hardship in life with effort. That’s the beauty in life. That is in fact, the real pure form of life.

So think again when you are trying to be perfect. Because it is in fact the imperfectness in life that truly makes a life worth living.

Globally Dominant

This is a song from a German band, Rammstein about how America reigns over world culture and politics. It’s an old song. I don’t know if you’ve heard it before. So im gonna post it anyway. This song is in German.

Here’s the English lyrics:

We're all living in America,
America is wunderbar.
We're all living in America,
Amerika, Amerika.

When I'm dancing, I want to lead,
even if you all are spinning alone,
let's exercise a little control.
I'll show you how it's done right.
We form a nice round (circle),
freedom is playing on all the fiddles,
music is coming out of the White House,
and near Paris stands Mickey Mouse.

We're all living in America...

I know steps that are very useful,
and I'll protect you from missteps,
and anyone who doesn't want to dance in the end,
just doesn't know that he has to dance!
We form a nice round (circle),
I'll show you the right direction,
to Africa goes Santa Claus,
and near Paris stands Mickey Mouse.

We're all living in America,
America is wunderbar.
We're all living in America,
Amerika, Amerika.
We're all living in America,
Coca-Cola, Wonderbra,
We're all living in America,
Amerika, Amerika.

This is not a love song,
this is not a love song.
I don't sing my mother tongue,
No, this is not a love song.

We're all living in America,
Amerika is wunderbar.
We're all living in America,
Amerika, Amerika.
We're all living in America,
Coca-Cola, sometimes WAR,
We're all living in America,
Amerika, Amerika.

Well, i kinda agree with this song. America did find an alternative way for global domination..
