Zombies and Society

If its one thing that i know from watching a zombie movie (and yes, i do watch a lot of it), then i guess it would be that we live among them in reality.

I don’t mean it like the flesh-eating zombies you see in movies; zombies killing every motherfucker that don’t have bad skin diseases like them. But i do see the similarities in this society.

So here's the comparison:

1. Origin / Cause
The infectious or contagious cause.

Zombie movie
- A mutative virus (Resident Evil called them T-virus) that acts like a parasite to the human brain, turning them into zombies.

Real-life society
- Could be anything. Fashion, status, trend, race, beliefs, ideas, etc.

2. The Pandemic
A huge-scale spread of the cause. Influencing others.

Zombie movie
- The virus was caught by a person. The person turned into a zombie and bites/kill others and turns them into zombies. They spread, growing in a geometric progression.

Real-life society
- Same thing. A small group of people likes a trend, and they influence others. Or some even blindly wanted to join the trend (a big middle-finger to you fashion sluts!). They began to expand.

3. The Killing
The elimination of the other kind, the ones who are different from them.

Zombie movie
- The zombies kill any non-zombie humans.

Real-life society
- They disagree with other trends. Argue, fight, conflict, campaign, genocide, war, etc.

4. Aftermath
                The end-results.

Zombie movie
- They die!

Real-life society
- Nothing good. (They possibly die, too)

And, like in the movies, the only way to stop these living zombies...

..is with a big ass shotgun!
Haha!

So, boys and girls, don’t get sucked into the pile of zombie mosh-pit.
YOU DONT WANNA TURN BRAINLESS, DO YOU??

Light

Some of us are born with 'the light'.

but as time goes by, they are soo familiar with 'the light' that they forgot how bright it shines.

Some of us weren't born with 'the light'.

but as time goes by, if they do found 'the light', they'll find 'the light' to be the brightest they've ever seen.

Law

Let me share an experience i had a few months earlier.

My friend and i have some business to take care at the administration building at my university.

When we arrived there we checked at the counter lobby -something you usually do.
The security guard asks us what our business is.

After we've state our intentions, he let my friend to go in, but didn’t allow me to enter.

I asked why.

He answered it’s because that i have long hair. -it’s against the school's policy to have long hairs.

(Initially, I do know that my hair is long, and I know the guard wouldn’t let me in because of it)

So I told my friend to go on without me.

Then that security guard gave me a lecture, saying that we as students need to follow the schools policies and all those boring craps. (bla bla bla~)

Then I asked him,
"So, you're saying that we, as students, need to follow these policies. Right?"

The guard answered yes.

I asked him
"Policies and laws are made for a reason. Just now, you've told me that having a long hair is against the school's policy.
So what exactly is the reason why the school won’t allow me to have a long hair?"

The guard was in shock. And so was the people that heard our conversation.
He paused, quite a while, unable to answer my question.

Seeing the awkward moment the guard was having, I laughed a little, and walk away from them.

Haha.

I know, I did cause him to lose his cool.

I wasn’t being anarchist or something. We do need laws. But i wont overlook that there are some needless laws out there (just my opinion).

But I do pity for someone like him.

Why? Because he, as a guard, defends a policy that he did not know the intention for.
Simply put, he is defending a law that he himself did not know why existed.

That is simply dangerous..
Next time you want to follow a law, know the law's intention first..

We all have a different skin colour. But beneath it, we all have the same colour of blood. Red.

The Homeless Man in The Rain

A homeless man in the rain, covering under a small bridge

He shivers in the cold night rain, shed only with an old piece of cardboard. He hoped for the rain to show its kindness tonight, and let some heat to warm his body. Yet he only can shiver, and cover himself for warmth.

There are houses nearby, facing towards the bridge. All of them look bright inside. “Maybe there’s firewood warming the dwellers” he told himself.

“Maybe some will help and invite me in, sharing their warmth” he thought.

But none of them did that night. None did to help..

He looked at one of the windows. He saw a family with full stomach after having dinner. There was still a plentiful food on the table, and none of them are finished.

“Maybe they will give me some of the leftover food. Even a pinch would do” he thought.

But none of them did that night. None did to help..

Up in the distance, he saw someone standing in front of her house. A woman in her 30’s wearing expensive dress and gold wrapped around her wrist and neck. She was entering a huge car with a driver. “Must’ve been a wealthy person she is” he said to himself.

“Maybe she will give me some spare change. It seems that she has a lot to buy herself needless things. I just need a little, that’s all. Enough to buy me some bread” he thought.

But she didn’t that night..None of them did to help..

Disappointed, the homeless man was left there, helpless.

The homeless man later died there below the small bridge. Cold. Hungry. Alone..

Later that morning, everyone in their neighbourhood found of the homeless man’s body.
Looking at how thin and cold he was, they all felt pity of him. Thinking , “Why didn’t anyone help him when he was in need?”

But little do they know, that they can change that mans fate, if only they stop for a while from all those mesmerizing luxuries. Look outside their windows, and give a helping hand.
